This past week Bimini Bay Resort celebrated the groundbreaking of their second phase of luxury oceanfront homes called Rockwell Island Beach Estates.
This exclusive beachfront retreat, developed by RAV Bahamas, plans to offer future residences a high level of luxury living with amenities such as a state-of-the-art wellness center complete with meditation garden, spa, swimming pool and sports facilities.
Rockwell Island has 105 home sites available to purchase with completed home prices to range from $2 million to over $4 million. The community has been conceived as an exclusive resort community with 5-star services ideal for second-home buyers and those seeking a Caribbean lifestyle where luxury is easily accessible.
Upon its completion, the project’s lavishly designed beachfront residences and resort will offer tenants and guests the total lifestyle experience complete with swimming pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, children’s area and fine dining establishments.
“Rockwell Island Beach Estates and Resort will infuse a new level luxury and introduce a new segment to the destination,” said Rafael Reyes, Partner of RAV Bahamas. “Our exclusive location coupled with our planned amenities and the destination’s unmatched mystique will provide a diverse segment of luxury clientele with the personification of paradise.”
Head of real estate for RAV Bahamas Jesus Castañon tells World Property Channel that there is already 8 pre-sales contracts signed with the majority of buyers thus far coming from Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia.
Rockwell Island Beach Estates and Resort is nestled along the turquoise waters and beaches of North Bimini. The environmentally sustainable destination will incorporate many natural features from the surrounding areas. The development will continue to positively impact the social, economic and environmental fabric of Bimini through various initiatives including mangrove preservation, the use of bio fuels and other forms of renewable energy as well as community development initiatives.
Rockwell Island also offers a unique amenity for the yachting or boating enthusiast as many of the beachfront lots feature mooring on an adjacent protected bayside lot for vessels up to 120 feet, it’s the only resort community in the Caribbean that has a beachfront home with a boat slip combination.
Castañon further comments, “We are the only luxury Bahamas home community to offer a buyer both an ocean as their front yard and a bayside backyard where they can park their yacht. You have to go to Palm Beach Island to find that kind of ocean-to-bay lot amenity and pay ten-times the price for it.”
Alex Capo, president of the Capo Group said, “Our goal is to make Bimini Bay become the French Riviera of the Caribbean that will provide our owners and guests a chic yet relaxed luxury environment.”
